Modernising society branding for a stronger identity

Develop a new brand to promote and showcase the ESOT Congress 2023

Delivered a professional, contemporary brand with consistent visual identity, including for the bi-annual congress

Our approach

A strategic audit of ESOT’s branding over the past decade was undertaken to evaluate how the organisation’s identity had evolved and to identify opportunities to strengthen cohesion across its communications. This review highlighted the potential to unify the society’s various initiatives and promotional activities under a more consistent and recognisable brand structure.

Based on these findings, a comprehensive society-wide rebrand was recommended and developed. The new approach positioned all ESOT promotional and organisational branding under a clearly defined umbrella identity, ensuring greater consistency and clarity across the society’s visual and strategic presence.

The refreshed brand was designed to modernise ESOT’s image while maintaining a strong connection to the society’s heritage, prestige, and core values.

Outcomes

The rebrand established a cohesive framework that could be applied across ESOT’s key platforms and activities. This included the development and refinement of the ESOT master brand, as well as the branding for the ESOT Congress from 2023 onwards.

The framework also extended to ESOT’s Sections and Committees, ensuring alignment across the society’s internal structures and external communications. In addition, the project introduced distinctive ESOT hero imagery and created a consistent visual identity for the society’s flagship journal, Transplant International.

The new brand system was further implemented across other ESOT events and initiatives, providing a unified, modern identity that strengthens recognition of the society while supporting its future growth.
